Six years have passed since DMX released a new album. During this time, DMX saw his popularity waning. It had been three years since he released his last album, which was before his “retirement.” At the time, throughout his career, DMX released nothing but number one albums, but this had all changed.
During the 2007-2008 period, DMX had a new album planned. Soon, these plans grew bigger, as DMX signed with a new label. Initially one album, DMX soon had two albums planned for same-day release. This did not happen and DMX’s long list of arrests landed him in prison.
Upon being released last summer, DMX hit the ground running, performing numerous shows. While still on the road, DMX is getting back in front of the camera, appearing on “Couples Therapy” on VH1. Along with his television appearance, DMX has his new album, Undisputed, set for a June 26, 2012 release.
