It seems as if none of the Roc-A-Fella artists have grown past that area of their careers. Jay-Z, one of the Roc-A-Fella founders, has gone on to become one of the most-recognized members of the hip hop community. However, the former Roc-A-Fella artists have yet to release albums since the label ceased operations.
Freeway appeared to be well on his way following his Roc-A-Fella departure, as there were rumors of him signing with Cash Money Records. For nearly four years, Cash Money has been focused on expansion. Rumors stated Freeway had signed with the label and was granted his own sub-label, Free Money.

Freeway discussed his current status with Jay-Z, and much more, with Montreality.
