It is hard to believe T.I. was just getting out of prison five months ago. Since his release, T.I. has made himself the most-discussed rapper. This discussion has not been about his antics, either. Knowing the fans had given up on him, T.I. hit the ground running, releasing new music constantly. With so much new music out and raising his lyrical ability to an entirely different level, the stage was set for a T.I. comeback.

The new music made it hard for fans to continue counting T.I. out. Back on top of the game, T.I. was dominating with no new album out. Having missed out on T.I. for three years, not counting his 2011 effort, No Mercy, fans were ready for a new album. Late in 2011, T.I. revealed he would release his new album, Trouble Man, early in 2012. Before he released his album, T.I. returned with a new mixtape, #FuckDaCityUp, which was met with positive reviews.

Initially, Trouble Man was set for a February 2012 release date. However, February came and went without a new release from T.I. However, the songs he previously recorded continued to generate more publicity and T.I. continued to release new music. Still, none of this music was from the upcoming new album T.I. had planned for his fans. The Trouble Man album has been delayed until at least the summer, but T.I. tells XXL his new single, “Love This Life,” will be released in the next few weeks.
