Lil’ Cease talks The Notorious B.I.G. name-drop on “Long Kiss Goodnight” with MTV2’s “Sucker Free” [VIDEO]

It seems every popular rapper has a right-hand-man. In the case of 50 Cent, he has always had Tony Yayo behind him. Jay-Z has always had Memphis Bleek by his side. When The Notorious B.I.G. was alive, Lil’ Cease was the man he could always count on. In numerous songs B.I.G. recorded, there are mentions of Lil’ Cease.

The mention taken from his Life After Death album on the track “Long Kiss Goodnight” has had fans questioning it for years. On the song, a rumored diss to all those who had been challenging the Bad Boy frontman, B.I.G. raps “you lose teeth like Lil’ Cease.” There were many who felt the line was a diss aimed at Lil’ Cease.

Because The Notorious B.I.G. had passed away before the song was released, no one had the chance to question the line. Whatever situation Lil’ Cease and Biggie were having, behind the scenes, was immediately overlooked, due to Biggie’s death. But, Lil’ Cease, speaking with MTV2’s “Sucker Free,” explained the line.
