Bangladesh talks Cash Money deal with MTV News [VIDEO]

It was on Tha Carter III when Lil Wayne officially made the transition from mixtape and collaboration king to becoming the most-popular rapper in the game. Tha Carter III was an album full of hits, with one of the most-notable being his “A Milli” track. Months after the release of the single, Bangladesh filed a lawsuit against Cash Money Records over unpaid royalties.

Falling out with Lil Wayne and Cash Money Records, Bangladesh discussed his issues with the overall camp in 2010. Lil Wayne was released from prison after Bangladesh discussed his feud with Wayne. Despite having issues over royalties, Bangladesh produced “6 Foot 7 Foot,” which became a major hit single, once again Bangladesh sued over unpaid royalties.

Recently, Bangladesh revealed he won his lawsuit with Cash Money Records and it helped other producers getting paid. Previously, producers would be afraid to demand their payments from the label. However, once Bangladesh stood up for himself, other producers did too and he said everything has been well between he and Cash Money Records ever since.

MTV News spoke to Bangladesh, who has now signed a deal with the label who he had so many issues with.
