There were many breakout stars of 2011 and Mac Miller was among them. The Pittsburgh rapper remained completely independent and released a moderately-selling album. Now, Mac Miller finds himself making media rounds, as he releases new mixtapes. While Mac Miller may be taking a break from recording new albums, he has been in-demand for collaborations.
Mac Miller was called upon by Maroon 5 for their “Moves Like Jagger (remix).” The young emcee has also worked with Adam Levine and Christina Aguilera. However, Mac Miller was also supposed to appear on Ke$ha’s “Sleazy 2.0 (remix),” which included Andre 3000, T.I., Wiz Khalifa, and Lil Wayne.
During his interview with XXL, Mac Miller revealed he was also supposed to be on Ke$ha’s pop-themed posse cut. After hearing that Ke$ha liked his verse, it did not appear on the final cut. With so much going on for him, Mac Miller said he was not mad about what happened. It turned out, Mac Miller was excited about being on the remix, though.
