In recent years, Raekwon has returned to the spotlight. The Wu-Tang rapper released his comeback album, Only Built 4 Cuban Linx… Pt. II, in 2009. Since then, Raekwon has been working on several new albums. Last year, Raekwon released his most-recent album, Shaolin vs. Wu-Tang. Raekwon closed 2011 with the release of his mixtape, Unexpected Victory.
Raekwon has been traveling North America in promotion of his latest mixtape. The rapper has called his journey the “Unexpected Victory Tour.” After doing several shows in Canada and signing Canadian rapper, JD Era, to his label, Raekwon has had nothing but praise for Canada. He said he eventually wants to move there.
Tonight, however, Raekwon will be in Chicago. Raekwon will be performing at Cubby Bear Wrigley and he wants all his fans in the Chicago area to come out and support him.
