Rappers feel they have to act a certain way in order to be accepted. For years, rappers will present one dynamic of their overall element. If the rapper is lucky enough to become the focal point of the game, they will become more relaxed. This has been the case for several rappers, among them Jay-Z, Kanye West, and now Lil Wayne.

During the Cash Money Millionaires era, Lil Wayne was known as the tough-talking young gangster. Once he was the only rapper left on Cash Money Records, Lil Wayne soon morphed into a lyrical beast. Now, officially on top of the game, Lil Wayne has put his entire personality on display. Among Lil Wayne’s interests are sports and skateboarding. Also, the New Orleans rapper prefers to parade around in pajamas and wore an outfit, which caused a minor backlash during the 2011 MTV Video Music Awards.

MTV has chronicled Lil Wayne, as his career has gone in many different directions. Today, Lil Wayne was in California at a photo shoot and interview for CCS, a popular skateboarding magazine. While on the set, Lil Wayne had the chance to hang out with many skateboarding legends. Lil Wayne said he wanted to introduce the hip hop world to the world of skateboarding, so each side can see why the other does what they do. MTV caught footage of Lil Wayne with the skateboarders in his new element.
