There have been a number of false starts, regarding DMX. First, the rapper was supposed to be released from prison on July 6, 2011, but was not released until weeks later. During the weeks leading up to his release, there were stories of a new DMX reality show, which did not take place. Even the person releasing the news about DMX, his girlfriend and his manager, were both on bad terms with the troubled rapper.

DMX was obviously different when he was released from prison. A changed man stood in X, as he got back to work. Focusing on the future, DMX hit the road and began doing shows. It was during these shows when DMX began recording new music. With new music on the way, DMX has been performing and making his media rounds. But, the best way to stay in the headlines is to stay in front of the camera.

While the previous reality show rumors, and the rumor of being on “Dr. Drew,” were eventually denied, DMX’s next appearance can be confirmed. DMX, along with his ex-wife, Tashera Simmons, will be featured on the upcoming VH1 series, “Couples Therapy.” The series will premiere on March 21, 2012 at 9 pm.
