For various reasons, French Montana is one of the most-discussed names in hip hop right now. XXL is well aware of the noise French Montana is making, thus the reason he was included in their Freshmen 2012 cover. While the intent of the cover was to showcase the best and brightest in the game, French Montana stole the show.
Many were wondering what French Montana had on his head. The bear hat he was wearing has even gained a Twitter page. Earlier today, XXL held an “interview” with the bear, where he discussed how he met French Montana. As XXL set up their interview with the bear, MTV was preparing to release their interview with French.
This morning, a short part of French Montana’s interview with Sway Calloway for MTV RapFix Live was posted. Now, the full version of the interview has been released, with French Montana discussing the bear hat.
