Right when it appeared New York was going to make a comeback, with Max B leading the pack, he was sentenced to 75 years in prison. Max B was affiliated with Jim Jones and was making a name for himself both in New York City and abroad. When he was sentenced to prison, Max B promised he would fight for his freedom.

Recently, disheartening news came about Max B, as he has been fighting for his appeal. There were rumors of Max B’s appeal being denied and him remaining in prison until at least 2042. Several affiliates close to Max B, including French Montana, spoke out and denied this.

Hip Hop Connection reached out to Max B, calling him from behind bars, and Max B explained to them what is going on. Aside from speaking on his prison sentence, the troubled rapper also discussed his new music. Max B is confident he will be freed and intends to return to his music.
