Since the release of The R.E.D. Album, Game has been relatively silent. He has released a few music videos and has conducted a few interviews. While Game has been out of the spotlight, the Maybach Music movement has continued to go strong. Philadelphia rapper, Meek Mill, has played an important role in this movement.
Being away from the spotlight for three years before releasing his last album, Game wants to continue the run he started last year. Despite falling from the public eye toward the end of 2011, many felt Game should have still been featured on MTV’s “Hottest MCs in the Game.” Given his competitive nature, Game is motivated by this.
Game is returning to the mixtape scene, preparing to heat the streets up very soon. By the look of things, Game will be working with Meek Mill. Later this year, both rappers plan to debut new studio albums. For Meek Mill, it will be his debut album and it will be released right before Christmas in December.
