Yesterday, Maino celebrated the release of The Day After Tomorrow, his sophomore effort. The original plan Maino had was to release this album in 2009. With his buzz high, Maino announced he would release a new album every year. Maino was ready to deliver on this promise, but Atlantic Records had other ideas.

Maino has come a long way in the three years since he released his debut album. The journey has been long and Maino now has time to reflect. Keeping it in New York City, Maino discussed his situation with Power 105.1’s “The Breakfast Club.” During the interview, Maino spoke on the label politics and his true feelings about the DJs.

The Brooklyn rapper also opened up about his romantic life.
