Even after his deal with YMCMB did not work out, Curren$y continued to make a name for himself. Similar to how Lil Wayne built his massive following, Curren$y has flooded the mixtape scene, with fans, critics, and other rappers taking notice. Styles P, of The L.O.X. fame, noticed Curren$y’s ever-improving lyrical ability and the two began working. Now, only days later, the two have completed their joint EP, #The1st28.
