Since moving to Charlotte, the CIAA Tournament has become one of the most-popular events of the early parts of the year. In past years, the tournament has been headlined by such artists as Bow Wow and The New Boyz. While those were the headliners, many other popular artists have performed shows during the weekend.
Now, Charlotte is going to contend with a Miami takeover, as Rick Ross and Trina will be performing during the festivities. The former Slip-N-Slide label-mates will host The Official Miami Takeover at Cameo Nightclub in Charlotte. Obviously, the two Miami standouts will also take the stage, performing a number of their countless hits.
Rick Ross is currently riding the wave of his Rich Forever mixtape, which boasts the “Stay Schemin'” single. Following the release of this mixtape, Rick Ross plans to release a compilation Maybach Music mixtape, then concluding with the Self Made, Vol. 2 album. Once the next compilation album is done, Rick Ross plans to release his long-awaited album, God Forgives, I Don’t. However, Rick Ross also revealed he will release another album later in the year.
