In the course of twelve months, Mac Miller has lived out the dreams of children around the world, amassing fortune and fame. With advances in technology, anyone with high-speed internet connection have the ability to become celebrities. There are more than enough websites that allow people to upload their music and videos. Through YouTube, Mac Miller has appeared on computer screens around the world, not stopping until he signed with Pittsburgh record label, Rostrum Records.

Mac Miller made the jump from being a mixtape/internet rapper to a chart-topper with the November 8 release of Blue Slide Park. The album set records for an independent rapper and Mac Miller has officially made a place for himself in history. Along the way, Mac Miller has made friends in high places. Earlier this year, Mac Miller released his “Donald Trump” single. The song grew in popularity and Donald Trump, himself, soon heard of the song.

The real estate mogul said Mac Miller would become the next Eminem. While hip hop fans are well aware of the difference between Eminem and Mac Miller, Mac Miller said Trump does not. Overall, 2011 has been the ultimate year for Mac Miller and he hopes for more success in 2012. Last night, Paul Rosenberg took over Shade 45 for the annual Hanukkah Radio Special. During the special, Mac Miller called in and he was given the ‘Jew of the Year’ award, beating out fellow popular Jew, Drake. Early this year, Drake said he was the most-famous Jew ever.
