Weeks before the release of Maybach Music’s Self Made, Vol. 1, Wale announced he would soon release two new albums. The first album was to be titled Ambition and the next album would follow months later. Early this month, Ambition was released to commercial and critical acclaim. Fans are currently still in aftershock of the album, with Wale all over the radio.
Now with Maybach Music, Wale is receiving the press and attention he did not receive on his debut run, two years ago. On top of the game, Wale is not relenting on his buzz. Instead, Wale is back in the studio, preparing to crank out more hits. The album Wale discussed during the spring of this year is now in the works.
Recently, Wale announced his new album on Twitter. In his tweet, Wale stated he was already a few tracks deep on the new album. The newly-formed Maybach Music movement has been going strong since the release of their first song. Their success is due, in part, to the overwhelming popularity of Rick Ross.
