Young Jeezy ignoring feud with Rick Ross

Last summer, Rick Ross released “B.M.F.,” with Styles P and the song quickly became the anthem of the streets. At the time, Young Jeezy was facing delays from Def Jam for his long-awaited Thug Motivation 103. With “B.M.F.” at the height of its popularity, Jeezy freestyled over the track and many took the freestyle as an insult to Ross.

Fresh off his highly-publicized feud with 50 Cent, Rick Ross dissed Young Jeezy and the former friends began a minor feud. With Rick Ross dominating the game with his collaborations and solo singles, he has been more visible than Young Jeezy. During a radio interview, Rick Ross hinted at being the reason Young Jeezy has not released his album yet.

Only days after Rick Ross boasted of convincing Def Jam to keep Young Jeezy waiting, Thug Motivation 103 was given a release date of December 20, exactly a week after Rick Ross releases God Forgives, I Don’t. Speaking with DJ Whoo Kid, Young Jeezy said there is not much of a beef between he and Rick Ross. Given his status, Jeezy said he does not need beef to sell records. Young Jeezy told Whoo Kid he has only pushed his music throughout his career. Discussing album release dates, Young Jeezy said artists do crazy things when it is time for their release date.
