Throughout 2011, Rick Ross has been on a rampage. Early in the year, Rick Ross announced his new album, God Forgives, I Don’t. Fans have grown used to Ross announcing a new album and then releasing it before the end of the summer. But, on his latest album, Rick Ross has different plans.

Rick Ross has enjoyed a great summer, being featured on Lil Wayne’s hit single, which sampled his own “I’m Not a Star,” “John (If I Die Today,” along with DJ Khaled’s two hits, “Welcome to My Hood” and “I’m on One.” Game also recruited Rick Ross for his new album, and Drake has a few Rick Ross verses for Take Care.

Not only has Rick Ross been highly sought, he has also been able to recruit several A-listers for his own album. Mary J. Blige collaborated with Rick Ross on God Forgives and she returned the favor, by featuing him on My Life II. The year of 2011 was going well for Rick Ross, until he suffered from the seizures.

Two weeks removed from the seizures, Rick Ross is back to work. The focus is releasing God Forgives, I Don’t on December 13, a little over a month from now. Despite the release date looming closer and closer, Rick Ross is still getting new tracks recorded. His most-recent addition to his album is Houston rapper, Trae Tha Truth. The two rappers have actually exchanged verses, as Rick Ross will also be featured on his upcoming album.

Trae Tha Truth has been working with many artists on the Maybach Music roster. Meek Mill, Gunplay, Pill, and Wale have all been working with Trae Tha Truth.
