When recording music, the studio would usually be filled with other artists from the Roc. In the studio recording, “What We Do,” Freeway asked for /br /Jay-Z happened to be in the studio when Freeway was recording the song. Freeway asked Jay-Z to do an ad-lib for the song. Following his “keep going” ad-lib, Jay-Z decided to record a verse for the song.
