Ever since Lil Wayne provided a verse on the remix of Ace Hood’s “Hustle Hard,” many have been comparing the younger Ace Hood to Lil Wayne. “Hustle Hard” was already a hit, but the remix with Rick Ross and Lil Wayne greatly elevated Ace Hood’s career.
Before recording this song, Ace Hood was down and out. Numerous times, Ace Hood stated he was very close to hanging up his mic. But, the single paired with the reaction, kept him around. Now, Ace Hood is being compared to Lil Wayne.
However, Ace Hood does not see it. He said aside from being dark-skinned with dreads, there is no comparison between he and Lil Wayne. Ace Hood said the comparisons between the rappers has to be a physical thing.
