With Kelly Rowland pulling off an incredible comeback this year, one of her biggest supporters has been 50 Cent. On his last album, 50 Cent’s biggest collaboration was with Rowland. In the video for his “Baby by Me (remix),” Kelly Rowland played his love interest.
Two years later, Kelly Rowland is back on the top of the charts and 50 Cent is happy. The G-Unit rapper said he is happy for her. He also said it is time for people to begin giving her the credit she deserves. 50 Cent feels as if Kelly Rowland is the top female in the game right now. Her single, “Motivation,” has dominated radio, this summer.
Many people wondered exactly how 50 Cent landed Kelly Rowland for his “Baby by Me (remix)” video. 50 Cent said he met Rowland at the 2009 MTV Latin Video Music Awards. After meeting her backstage, 50 Cent asked her if she would consider being a part of his music video. A few weeks later, she agreed to do the video with 50 Cent. Describing her as the “most underrated female,” 50 is high on Kelly.
