The hip hop community was wondering how the old Roc-A-Fella roster felt about this. But, his refusal to tone down his lyrics led to him being overlooked. Still, Beans had only positive things to say about /br /Only one month after Beanie Sigel praised Jay-Z, he released a diss record. Initially, he said this was not a free pass for others to go after Jay-Z. However, Beanie Sigel soon teamed up with 50 Cent to go after /br /For the most part, the media sided with Jay-Z. It was not because of his popularity in comparion to Beans, but it was because Sigel did not make much sense. Looking back on it, Beanie Sigel realizes this too, so he decided to explain why he acted the way he did. Beanie Sigel said he dissed Jay-Z because he was shaken down by a bodyguard at Jay-Z’s 40/40 Club.
