Not even a month after Rick Ross pulled off his major distribution deal with Warner Bros. Records and he is already working on the next project. Only days into the New Year, Rick Ross announced the title of his fifth album, God Forgives, I Don’t. Days later, he added several artists to the Maybach Music roster.
With Rick Ross’ growing popularity and his growing roster, everyone wanted a piece of the action. Bad Boy Records, Roc Nation, and Cash Money all put together proposals. Birdman hinted towards Ross agreeing to his deal. But, Warner Bros. is what really caught Rick Ross’ attention.
Rick Ross announced Maybach Music would enter an exclusive distribution deal with Warner Bros. The deal is official and Ross now has the first project underway. All of the new artists signed to the Maybach label are in the studio working on some new verses. Sometime before the end of this year, the crew will be releasing a compilation album, introducing them to the world.
