Dead Prez turns down Roc Nation

While she was making hits, Jay-Z was signing Jay Electronica to Roc Nation.br /br /Ever since he left Roc-A-Fella/Def Jam to create Roc Nation, there have been rumors of many artists signing there. Initial rumors stated Beyonce, Rihanna, Ne-Yo, the entire roster of the old Roc-A-Fella Records, and Nas would end up signed to the label. This has yet to take place, but Roc Nation is growing.br /br /Recently, there have been rumors of Dead Prez signing with the label. While they have great respect for Jay-Z and Roc Nation, the duo has no interest in joining the label. M1 said they would like to work with many of Roc Nation’s artists without actually giving up their rings.
