Travis Scott has been the subject of much criticism over the past month, due to the unfortunate events of his Houston-based Astroworld Festival. Over 300 people were injured, and 10 lost their lives, due to injuries sustained.
Travis has been facing over 300 lawsuits as well, which include several that seek $2 billion and $750 million, in damages. Collaborations such as his upcoming Nike sneaker release snd W Magazine cover, have also both been scrapped.
The W Magazine cover was also supposed to feature Travis’ girlfriend and baby mama, Kylie Jenner. Now, the official cover has leaked, as it displays Kylie pregnant, in a yellow dress, with Travis next to her. According to TMZ, they’re still together, despite rumors that they split, after the Astroworld Fest incidents.
W Magazine editors also reportedly decided to stop trucks from distributing these covers. They also didn’t feel that putting out the Travis and Kylie interviews were fitting, per Page Six.
“W editors have cleared any planned coverage of Travis and Kylie from their website, but the magazine was already printed, and now they are trying to stop the delivery trucks. In light of what happened at Astroworld, the interview and cover lines seem inappropriate, to say the least.”
Several families of Astroworld Fest victims have also turned down Travis’ offers to cover burial costs. This appears to be so they can move forward with lawsuits against the Houston rapper.
