Through his career, Soulja Boy has always talked about money. When he was on “Love & Hip Hop Hollywood,” Soulja Boy said that he was worth $25 million. The viewers laughed at Soulja Boy, but he was proven to be right.
What is often overlooked about Soulja Boy is that he has had a successful business career. The way he leveraged his music on the internet changed the game. Aside from this, Soulja Boy has been successful at finding artists who also made hit records.
Last year, Soulja Boy dropped some form of new material almost every day. Along with the music, Soulja Boy had product launches, which include his own gaming console. Soulja Boy spent much of last year promoting his products, along with getting into a high profile, one-sided beef with Kanye West. Eventually, Kanye responded to Soulja Boy, on “Drink Champs,” before apologizing to him. In 2022, Soulja Boy appeared on Donda 2, officially ending the beef.
Soulja Boy has since declared war on his bank, over the withdrawal process. The rapper/rising tech mogul went to his bank intending on withdrawing $100,000. However, banks have limits, and Soulja Boy could only get $30,000 out. Because of this, Soulja Boy took to a video rant, where he called his bank out, hurling all kinds of insults.
