Jewell was a member of Death Row Records, during their iconic beginning. Most Death Row tracks had Jewell singing memorable hooks. The way Jewell’s voice sounded on those Dr. Dre beats were unforgettable.

Jewell was the Death Row member who was often overlooked, though. However, Jewell began telling her story, back in 2011. Back then, Jewell released a book about her time on Death Row.

Jewell has recently been doing interviews, where she shared untold Death Row stories. Along with that, she addressed claims made about her. Clearly, Jewell was never one to back down. Fearlessly, Jewell told the good, bad, and the ugly about Death Row. This included Jewell telling stories about Dr Dre, Suge Knight, Snoop Dogg, Danny Boy, and Tupac.

Jewell passed away this morning, according to Daz Dillinger. Like Jewell, Daz Dillinger was also a member of Death Row Records. Daz Dillinger was a member of Snoop Dogg’s Tha Dogg Pound. After Death Row, Daz and Jewell remained close. While news of Jewell’s death may come as a surprise, back in March, she posted on Instagram about having a recovery.
