Six years ago, New York hip hop found itself down in the dumps, post-Jay-Z and in the midst of a transitional period for 50 Cent. At this time, the feud between D-Block and G-Unit was beginning to tone down after Sheek Louch held an intelligent conversation with 50 Cent. However, both sides were not close to compromise, especially after DJ Khaled did “New York is Back.”

Featuring Jadakiss alongside Fat Joe and Ja Rule, once more did little to ease tensions. Little did the world know there was tension within the crew. J-Hood was considered the younger brother of the L.O.X. trio. But, in the summer of 2007, he suddenly became their biggest rival, dragging the D-Block chain and reaching out to 50 Cent.

J-Hood has since buried the hatchet with Jadakiss, Styles P, and Sheek Louch. However, the world has yet to fully hear his side of the story. Now, J-Hood has broken his silence and has decided to tell the world what was going through his mind. With the situation now settled, J-Hood can calmly get this off his chest and he did with his “Grown Man Shit” single and video.
