Long Beach and Tha Dogg Pound rapper Badazz signed with Snoop Dogg in the early 90s and has been close with Snoop ever since. Over the weekend Bad Azz was arrested on a domestic violence charge and now, has passed away at the age of 43 while in jail.
Snoop confirmed Bad Azz’s passing on Instagram as he said “Damn RIP to my young DPGLLGLBC Crew original. @badazzlbc gone 2 soon.” Bad Azz released five studio albums with his debut album being ‘Word on Tha Streets’ in 1998. His breakout single was ‘Wrong Idea’ in 2001 which appeared on his ‘Personal Business’ album. The record peaked at No. 75 on the Billboard Hot R&B/Hip Hop Songs chart.
Bad Azz has also collaborated with legends such as Ice Cube the Outlawz, and Kurupt. As far as Bad Azz’s death, it’s very unusual that he passed in jail. The Riverside County Jail needs to put out an explanation ASAP.
