One of the NBA’s toughest fan-bases is the Lakers’ fan base. This is a franchise that’s used to winning and used to being the best, overall. So, this has been a patient fan base, watching the team consistently dwindle, following the 2010 championship, to a bottom-feeding team.
Since 2017, the Lakers have shown signs of life, with LeBron James signing with them in 2018. Unfortunately, that wasn’t enough to stop the losing culture. This season has shown the potential to be different, but flashes of past failures continue.
The NBA has few inter-conference rivalries, but the Lakers have a rivalry with the Miami Heat, dating back to 2004. 0-4, all-time, in Christmas games, the Lakers are playing the Heat, tonight. Laker Nation is going in on Kentavious Caldwell-Pope, once again, for him airballing an easy layup.
After a few solid games, Twitter is on him for bad play, again, saying get him off the team, off Jimmy Butler, and out of the building.
