DMX has seemed to get his life together as of late but has apparently been battling with issues in his personal life. His Instagram page has posted that the rapper has checked himself into rehab. The reasoning for rehab is to help himself prioritize being sober and to put family first.
As now now, DMX will be canceling his upcoming concerts. DMX has battled drug-related issues in the past as well. In 2000, he served 15 days in jail for marijuana possession, went to jail for this in 2001, entered rehab to fix a drug addiction in 2002, These issues remained consistent throughout the course of the 2000s and 2010s as well. In January 2017, he was charged with 14 federal counts of tax fraud.
DMX just got out of prison in January of this year after serving a year for leaving a drug treatment program ordered by a court and relapsing with cocaine and Oxycodone. Check out his rehab announcement on IG below.
