This year, DaBaby finally broke through, and emerged with a hit record, as “Suge” took over radio. Before the single, DaBaby signed his major label deal with Interscope, and it was game over. However, this followed a long grind, in Charlotte.

DaBaby has overcome some incredible odds, one of which included killing a man, in self-defense, at Walmart. No other rapper has ever had a situation that bizarre. Since then, his security ended up having to take a fan down.

Recently, DaBaby visited “The Breakfast Club,” where he sat down with DJ Envy, Angela Yee, and Charlamagne Tha God. When discussing fatherhood, DaBaby revealed his own dad died, when his debut album hit number one. Then, he spoke on security, female rappers, and the rest.
