The world got to know Hitmaka, back in 2007, as Yung Berg, a young rapper from Chicago. That summer, he dropped “Sexy Lady,” which was a huge record. A few months later, Ray J recruited Yung Berg for his “Sexy Can I” hit.
Yung Berg saw his rap career slowing down and he was forgotten by most, by 2010. Four years later, he resurfaced on “Love & Hip Hop Hollywood.” On the show, he and Hazel-E had their drama, along with his situations with Masika and Teairra Mari.
While he was on the show, Yung Berg explained why he has called himself Hitmaka, as he is now focused on producing. On “The Breakfast Club,” Hitmaka discussed with DJ Envy, Angela Yee, and Charlamagne Tha God. The interview saw him speak on Hazel connecting him with Jeremih, but how the show tried to ruin his character, along with A1, before speaking on his role with Atlantic Records, A Boogie, Maino’s past beef, and more.
