It’s been 15 months now since the murder of XXXTentacion in his home state of Florida. Four suspects were ended up being apprehended as they were Trayvon Newsome, Dedrick Williams, Michael Boatwright and Robert Allen. These men are still in jail but Newsome is looking to get out soon.
According to court documents obtained by The Blast, Newsome’s lawyer is asking for his client’s release on bond. He said in a statement that “Defendant is presently being denied bond. Defendant is entitled to bond as a matter or right, unless proof is evidence and the presumption of guilt is great.” The charges in place for Newsome are 1st degree murder and robbery with a firearm.
Newsome’s lawyer is looking to receive a pre-trial release and requesting a hearing. As of now, a judge has not made a decision. Since XXX’s murder, his girlfriend Jenesis Sanchez gave birth to their son, Gekyume. Sanchez has been trying to get his DNA to confirm that he is the father. She entered a legal battle with XXX’s mother regarding this situation and ended up winning.The Florida artist also released his third studio album ‘Skins‘ last December which reached the top spots on the Billboard 200 and Billboard Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums charts.
