Lizzo Publicly Apologizes After Putting Postmates Driver On Blast On Twitter By Accusing Her Of Stealing Her Food Even After Driver Tried To Contact Her- “I Understand I Have a Large Following and That There Were So Many Variables That Could’ve Put Her in Danger”

Lizzo has been one of the biggest artists of 2019 as her 2017 single “Truth Hurts” finally got the recognition it deserves and blew up this year. She also released her third studio album “Cuz I Luv You.” She recently ran into some controversy though as posted the information about a Postmates food deliverer on Twitter because she wasn’t able to find her to deliver her food. Lizzo thought that the driver stole her food.

The deleted tweet by Lizzo originally said “Hey @Postmates this girl Tiffany W. stole my food she lucky I don’t fight no more.” She has now apologized for posting the woman on blast as she realized she could’ve put her in danger. Lizzo took to Twitter to say “I apologize for putting that girl on blast. I understand I have a large following and that there were so many variables that could’ve put her in danger. Imma really be more responsible with my use of social media and check my petty and my pride at the door.”

Sources close to Rolling Stone said that the Postmates employee waited at the designated pickup area for five minutes but couldn’t reach Lizzo. That ended up resulting in the cancellation of the order.
