Master P Says His Home Team New Orleans Saints Need To Sign Colin Kaepernick After Losing QB Drew Brees To Thumb Injury For At Least Six Weeks [VIDEO]

Drew Brees suffered a thumb injury in the Saints’ 27-9 loss on the road to the Rams in Week 2 and he is set to miss at least six weeks. Teddy Bridgewater is the backup QB and looked ok when he first got into the game but then everything went downhill for New Orleans.

A good amount of teams are dealing with QB injuries such as the Saints, Jets, and Steelers and could all use Colin Kaepernick’s services, who is still being blackballed by the NFL for kneeling during the national anthem in 2016 to protest racism and police brutality in America. New Orleans legend, Master P, is all for his team going after Kaepernick.

Master P said to TMZ Sports “Kap, we need you. I’m going home to let him know that right now. We need Kap!!” The Saints definitely do need Kaep. Bridgwater isn’t the long-term answer and will have difficulty beating out the Falcons in the NFC South if Brees isn’t available and fully healthy.

Kaepernick deserves a job in the NFL again. You shouldn’t be punished for protesting hatred in your country.
