SPOILER ALERT! Franklin lives! However, what the viewers got to see is a glimpse of what life would have been like, had Franklin chosen to stay on the straight and narrow, which was a path that sent him right back to a life of crime.
In many ways, last week’s “Snowfall” episode seemed like the season finale. The episode ended with Mel shooting Franklin several times, leading many to question if he died or not. Fortunately, Franklin lived, but the episode did not pick up where last week left off.
On Twitter, “Snowfall” fans were speaking on how they didn’t really understand what happened in the season three finale. But, ultimately, Franklin lived, looked back on his life, and decided to cut a deal with the same CIA he would have worked for, had he chosen the other route. However, most viewers did catch the John Singleton reference/tribute.
