Long before the sextape, Teairra Mari has been controversial. By 2014, she was virtually forgotten by most. In 2005, Teairra Mari was signed to the dying Roc-A-Fella Records and released her “Make Her Feel Good” record, which included a Kanye West remix.
Teairra Mari returned, in 2010, independent, with her “Sponsor” single, featuring Gucci Mane and Soulja Boy. By 2012, Teairra Mari had a small role on “Love & Hip Hop.” Two years later, she leaked the nudes of Princess Love, sparking their beef.
Since 2014, Teairra Mari has been on “Love & Hip Hop Hollywood,” though she hasn’t yet appeared on this season. She had plenty of drama, before her sextape, but that heightened drama, with 50 Cent being added to the fiasco. Even since then, she picked up a DWI in New York City, for which she plead guilty for, and that has led to her avoiding prison time.
