Tekashi 6ix9ine’s Ex-Manager, Kifano ‘Shotti’ Jordan, Sentenced to 15 Years in Prison For Federal Racketeering Charges In 2018 Incidents

In November 2018, 6ix9ine and his manager Kifano ‘Shotti’ Jordan were taken into custody on federal racketeering charges. Also, 6ix9ine accused of murder and drug charges.

Things went bad for 6ix9ine, after a huge 2018. First, he had a hot single in “GUMMO.” Second, he had the Nicki Minaj-assisted hit, “FeFe.” After that, his debut album “Dummy Boy” was released. The album peaked at number two on Billboard 200. 6ix9ine’s album was released after his arrest. With two hits under his belt, 6ix9ine proved he was a star.

6ix9ine has provided information on several associates. Shotti is the latest affiliate arrested. According to Complex,  He just got a 15-year sentence at the Thurgood Marshall Courthouse in Manhattan court. This spring, he plead guilty to two federal weapons counts. The Manhattan U.S. Attorney’s Office says Shotti admitted to “using and possessing a firearm in furtherance of a crime of violence” and “discharging a firearm in furtherance of a crime of violence.”

The first count was for using and possessing a firearm in furtherance of a crime of violence. This was in regards to the armed robbery in the lobby of a G-Unit office on April 3, 2018. Scumlord D!zzy, and Rap-A-Lot affiliated rapper, Junya Boy, were the victims. The minimum amount of years for this incident was five years, which he received.

The second is for discharging a firearm in furtherance of a crime of violence. This happened in Brooklyn on April 21, 2018. It was hours before a 6ix9ine associate fired shots inside the Barclays Center during the Adrien Broner-Jessie Vargas fight. The max for this incident was ten years.

Shotti signed Fetty Wap and Alexis Skyy, in addition to 6ix9ine. However, 6ix9ine fired him as his manager this spring. As a result, he insulted him on “The Breakfast Club.”
