In 2016, Simone Biles was the heroine who warmed the hearts of the nation. As she won an Olympic gold medal, Simone Biles shared her story of how hard she worked to get where she is. Meanwhile, her brother, Tevin Biles-Thomas, was pursuing a career in the military.
Tevin Biles-Thomas had his name involved in some wrongdoing, however. During his New Year’s Eve return to Cleveland, the military man was involved in a murder. Three people were left dead and two others were injured.
Last Thursday, Tevin Biles-Thomas was arrested in Georgia, at the Fort Stewart military base. In an official statement, Biles-Thomas was involved in an altercation that led to gunfire. Biles-Thomas is on active duty, with the Army, but charged with six counts of murder, three counts of voluntary manslaughter, five counts of felonious assault and one count of perjury, according to prosecutors.
