Jay Z Starts Business Moves With NFL As He Launches “Inspire Change” Apparel And Season Kickoff Concerts From Meek Mill, Rapsody, And Meghan Trainor

Jay Z surprised everyone in the sports and entertainment world earlier this month by announcing that his Roc Nation record label would be having a business partnership with the NFL. They will work on entertainment events in addition to expanding social justice awareness with the league’s Inspire Change program. Hov was met with criticism though as the NFL is still blackballing Colin Kaepernick just for kneeling during the national anthem to protest racism and police brutality in America.

Regardless of the noise, Jay has a seat at the table now with an opportunity to help bring the change that people want. The first business move with the NFL now is a kickoff event in Chicago on September 5 that will feature a concert with Meek Mill, Rapsody, and Meghan Trainor, according to TMZ Sports. This show will be called “Songs Of The Season.”

Inspire Change apparel is also on the way and will be available to the public in October. Roc Nation and the NFL say that the clothing line will fund the Songs of Seasons and the funds made from streaming those songs will actually go to programs funding police/community relations along with criminal justice reform.
