Barack And Michelle Obama Reveal Their Summer 2019 Playlist; Songs Include Lil Nas X’s “Old Town Road” Remix With Billy Ray Cyrus, “Too Good” From Drake and Rihanna, And More

Former President and First Lady Barack and Michelle Obama have had social media on fire today as they revealed their summer 2019 playlist. 44 songs were listed in honor to Barack being the 44th president. As you could imagine, the tracks picked out were very-star studded.

At the top spot, the Obamas gave it to Drake’s “Too Good” record featuring Rihanna. This appeared on his 2016 “Views” album. Lil Nas X’s mega hit single “Old Town Road” remix feat. Billy Ray Cyrus was placed at No. 40. This recently broke the record for consecutive weeks at the top spot on the Billboard 100. It lasted at 19 weeks before Billie Eilish’s “Bad Guy” single took over.

The Obamas are very close with Beyonce’ and Jay Z so it’s no surprise that they made some appearances on their summer playlist. “Mood 4EVA” by Jay, Beyonce’ and Childish Gambino feat. Oumou Sangare was at No. 3 and “Shining” by DJ Khaled feat. Jay Z and Beyonce’ was at 30.

There were recent R&B hits that cracked the list as well such as “Best Part” by Daniel Caesar and H.E.R. at No. 19, “Go Gina” by SZA at 22, and Ella Mai’s “Boo’d Up” at 29. 2 Chainz’s smooth “It’s a Vibe” record from summer 2017 featuring Jhene Aiko, Ty Dolla $ign, and Trey Songz also impressed the First Family.
