R. Kelly was arrested this month on a 13-count indictment on sex charges involving underage girls in his home state of Illinois and also faces a five-count indictment in New York on racketeering and kidnapping charges. These cases might be the nail in the coffin on Kelly finally going to prison for a long time for his relations with girls so young.
Joycelyn Savage and Azriel Clary have been rumored to been held against their will but have supported Kelly heavily. They still live in his Chicago Trump Tower condo despite rumors of being evicted. According to TMZ, they will also be flying to New York to support him during his arraignment for the charges in that state on August 2. Kelly’s attorneys, Douglas Anton and Steve Greenberg say that the two women fully want to support Kelly.
Savage and Clary are viewing Kelly as a “loved one in crisis.” They will be staying in Brooklyn while Kelly is held by U.S. Marshals. Savage and Clary’s families have been trying to meet them but this sadly may not happen with them constantly supporting Kelly and who he is.
