This is the kind of thing that happens on television, most notably in 2014, when Joe Budden proposed to Tahiry. But, a man proposes to a woman, and she turns him down, in epic, public, fashion. When it happens in real life, it’s jarring, to say the least.
A young man, in love, decided to take the next step, with his girlfriend, so he decided to surprise her. Presumably, the two have had a strong relationship. Because of that, he wanted to have a surprise proposal for her, with all of their friends and family around.
Unfortunately, the man was just as surprised as his girlfriend. She was surprised he went through all the trouble to propose to her, and he was surprised when she told him no. Twitter, however, wasn’t surprised, having tons of jokes, with most assuming she was probably cheating with another man.
