The 2019 MTV VMAs are set to take place on August 15 at the Prudential Center in Newark, NJ. The full list of nominees and categories have been released and Taylor Swift and Ariana Grande are the giants in this year’s selections as they’re each nominated for 10.

He also released his ‘7‘ EP last month which also features the Billboard-charting record, ‘Panini.’ 17-year-old star Billie Eilish is up for nine nominations as her 2019 as been on fire as well as her ‘Bad Guy’ single is doing numbers along with its remix featuring Justin Bieber. She’s also had success with her debut album ‘When We All Fall Asleep, Where Do We Go?’ this spring.
Grande and Eilish are also in the top category for “Artist of the Year” with Cardi B, Halsey, Jonas Brothers, and Shawn Mendes. ‘Song of the Year’ nominees include Drake’s ‘In My Feelings,’ Ariana Grande’s “thank u, next,” Jonas Brothers’ “Sucker,” Lady Gaga & Bradley Cooper’s “Shallow,” Lil Nas X’s “Old Town Road” remix feat. Billy Ray Cyrus, and Taylor Swift’s “You Need to Calm Down.”
Lil Nas is in the “Best Hip-Hop Song” category for his Old Town Road remix with 2 Chainz’s “Rule The World” collab with Ariana Grande, 21 Savage’s “a lot” feat. J. Cole, Cardi B’s “Money,” DJ Khaled’s “Higher” feat. Nipsey Hussle and John Legend, and Travis Scott’s “SICKO MODE” feat. Drake. In the “Best R&B Song” category, the nominees are Anderson .Paak’s “Make It Better”
