On Thursday, R. Kelly was arrested after a federal grand jury handed down a 13-count indictment, which includes four counts of producing child pornography and two counts of receiving child pornography. This’ll could finally take him down for having sex with underage girls after all these decades. Kelly’s ex-employees have turned in 20 sex tapes with underage girls to help him get locked up, according to Gerald Griggs to TMZ, who represents Joycelyn Savage’s family. Savage has supposedly been held against her will by Kelly over the last few years too.
The federal investigation has been ran by the Northern District of Illinois and received the tapes by those former employees. Prosecutors determined that the girls in the tapes were underage and they saw everything they needed to see to hand down all of these charges against Kelly. A former employee of Kelly also testified last month that Kelly recorded himself with these young girls daily.
In addition to these sex crimes, Kelly is also facing a five-count federal indictment in New York which involves racketeering and having four violations of the Mann Act. R. Kelly should be in prison for life and the employees who covered these videos up for so long should be locked up for a long time as well. The families of the victims who got paid off by Kelly to keep quiet shouldn’t be off the hook either.
