Much of the newness that is Cardi B has worn off, over the past year. In 2017, she took her reality TV fame, and used it as a huge platform to properly launch her music career. Most consider “Bodak Yellow” her first single, but it was more like her third single.
“Bodak Yellow,” however was her first charting single, kicking off some scene-stealing guest appearances. Soon, she had “Be Careful” and “I Like It” dominating radio. In 2019, Cardi B has had “Please Me” dominating radio, as a second album is in the works.
Cardi B is easily the hardest-working woman in music, as she is always booked and performing. During last night’s show, Cardi was turned up, and she threw her wig into the crowd. But, Cardi got a little ahead of herself, later telling the fans to DM her so she can get her wig back.
