Rihanna’s Fenty Beauty makeup company is one of the best in the world right now and one of the many successful business ventures started by her. It’s generated over $570 million as of 2018. Despite being so successful, it’s facing some legal issues by one of its customers.
Beatriz Gutierrez filed a lawsuit in Los Angeles on Wednesday against Fenty Beauty because according to documents obtained by The Blast, the company “is not properly equipped to handle her needs” as she’s visually-impaired. She added that Fenty Beauty “doesn’t utilize industry standard screen-reading technology.” This would help visually-impaired customers see what they want to purchase online.
It’ll be interesting to see if Rihanna addresses this issue and makes the proper adjustments for visually-impaired customers before the lawsuit escalates further.
