In 2019, Lizzo has been the phenomenon taking over pop culture. She has plenty of viral videos and records that have led her from the internet to the Fuse network and MTV. The standout track is “Truth Hurts,” which she performed, tonight.
Lizzo is all for equality and being proud of one’s body. Definitely a BBW, she held nothing back during her performance. Minus the comedy routine, Lizzo’s performance was reminiscent of the image Mo’Nique was trying to portray, when she hosted the early BET Awards.
But, Lizzo is an actual artist, with buzzing music, right now. The people on Twitter were here for her performance. With her performance of “Truth Hurts,” Lizzo came out the winner on Twitter, as some even said her performance was the best.
